HEA-305 Women's Health

This course explores what women and men need to know about womens bodies and womens health. Personal, family, cultural, community and societal influences are analyzed for their impact on the physical and emotional health of women. Emphasis on human sexuality is addressed in discussion related to body image and intimacy. Health risk identification, health promotion, health maintenance and treatment alternatives are examined. Men are encouraged to participate in the course to add perspective and gain a more in-depth understanding of women.
