NUR-320 Introduction to Professional Nursing
In this course, students are introduced to the profession of nursing. The theoretic constructs of the metaparadigm of nursing serve as a basis for role development and understanding the practice of nursing. Health promotion, disease prevention, safety, and quality of care provide a context for the practice of evidence-based nursing. This course is designed to be taken with NUR-328, NUR-340, and NUR-418.
This course is classroom-based with a clinical component.
