NUR-328 Health Assessment and Health Promotion

The course introduces the student to the process of systematic and comprehensive health data collection and assessment. Emphasis is placed on strategies for interpersonal communication, skillful examination techniques, and data validation. Culturally and age appropriate health promotion and disease prevention activities are explored. This course is designed to be taken with NUR 320, NUR-340, and NUR-418.

This course is classroom-based with a clinical component.
