PHY-112 Physics II
Second-semester introductory course in physics. Emphasizes the comprehension of topics such as electricity, magnetism, electromagnetism, light, and optics.
Advisories: Taken with the 1 credit Physics Lab II course, this course will meet the Physics Area of Study Physics II with Lab requirement. It is recommended that students taking PHY-112 have completed MAT-121 College Algebra or equivalent and PHY-111 Physics I or equivalent. Students will need a scientific calculator; a graphing calculator is not required. Programmable calculators are not permitted in exams.
