  This course introduces concepts, definitions, and theories of fitness, the effects of exercise on humans, concepts of wellness, specific methods to improve fitness, research bases of the applications of techniques and a review of the variety of settings in which these programs are offered. Multicultural approaches to concepts of fitness and wellness will be explored.
