course introduces concepts, definitions, and theories
of fitness, the effects of exercise on humans, concepts
of wellness, specific methods to improve fitness,
research bases of the applications of techniques
and a review of the variety of settings in which
these programs are offered. Multicultural approaches
to concepts of fitness and wellness will be explored.
